On February 23, Jennifer Lopez took to Instagram to share a sweet video that offered fans a glimpse into some of the most beautiful moments she’s shared with her twins Emme and Max over the years. The video, which includes a collection of candid snaps of the singer and her children, was posted in celebration of their 15th birthday.
The Grammy-winning artist shared the video alongside a heartfelt message in which she expressed her love and admiration for her twins, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful, brilliant coconuts,” Lopez wrote in the caption. “I am so proud of you both in every single way. You bring so much joy and happiness to my heart and soul. I love you beyond forever. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.”
The video features a range of touching moments between Lopez and her children, including footage of them on vacation and at various events throughout the years. Some of the snaps even include her current partner, Ben Affleck.
Lopez welcomed Emme and Max into the world in 2008, four years after tying the knot with Anthony. In a 2008 interview with Us Weekly, Lopez gushed about her twins, saying that they were “very in tune with each other.”
Reflecting on motherhood in a recent interview with Vogue, Lopez shared how being a mother has changed her and what she looks for in relationships. “I just didn’t understand what it was to care for myself, to not put somebody else’s feelings and needs—and your need for them to love you—in front of taking care of yourself,” she said.
