Hailie Jade’s Fiancé Evan McClintock Reveals Eminem’s Blessing to Propose
Evan McClintock, the fiancé of Hailie Jade, Eminem’s daughter, recently spilled the beans on how he planned to propose to her. In a recent episode of the podcast “Just a Little Shady,” Evan shared that he first thought about proposing to Hailie last summer at Lollapalooza in Chicago, where she was set to broadcast her second episode.
Evan also revealed that he had asked for Eminem’s blessing before proposing, which proved to be a mission. He waited for an opportunity during the holidays and followed Eminem downstairs while he was grabbing a birthday cake. Evan did not want to miss the opportunity and decided to propose right then and there.
Hailie had no idea that a proposal was in the works and was completely surprised. Evan shared that Hailie’s half-sister helped him pick out the perfect ring. Although Hailie never told him what kind of ring she wanted, her sister helped him figure out what not to get. He said that Hailie’s sister pointed him in the right direction, but he started to panic after he had ordered the ring.
Hailie announced on her Instagram on February 6th, 2023, that her long-time boyfriend proposed, and she said yes. The couple has been together for several years, and Hailie’s father, Eminem, has previously spoken highly of Evan, calling him a “good guy.”
