This move follows other signs that the couple has been sidelined by the institution, including the absence of their photo during Queen Elizabeth II’s Christmas broadcast in 2019. Despite relocating to California, Harry and Meghan have continued to use the Windsor cottage as their base in England, although they lent it to Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank prior to their move to Portugal.
